On October 21st 2009 the 'Making Europe Greener' Comenius project was officially launched. Mr. Matt Hume, Principal of St. Joseph's BNS performed the opening cermony. Amongst the guests were two representatives of each of the participating schools, local politicians, principals from our neighbouring schools and pupils representatiing each class in the school. The 6th class boys and the school band performed for the assembled guests.
