On September 27th and 28th the partners of the Making Europe Greener project were hosted by Meadowside CP, Knaresborough. Ms. Noreen O'Donnell represented Sant Ignasi Sarria, Barcelona,  and Mr. Matt Hume, Ms. Charlotte Larmer, Ms. Anne Lalor and Mr. Declan Donnelly represented St. Joseph's BNS, Dublin.

We received a very warm welcome from Mr. Nigel Ashley, Headteacher at Meadowside, Ms. Annie Gregory, Deputy Head, Ms. Joanne Bowman, Comenius Co-ordinator and all the staff and pupils.

Ms. Noreen O'Donnell, Sant Igansi-Sarria addressed a very attentive audience of boys and girls after being introduced by Mr. Ashley.

Mr. Matt Hume told the boys and girls about St. Joseph's and described the game of hurling. An international match is being arranged !!

We were given guided tour of the school and the classrooms. It was a wonderful experience for all and we enjoyed sharing and comparing ideas and practices.

Knaresborough is a very picturesque town in North Yorkshire and we are really looking forward to visiting there again. Many thanks to Mr. Ashley, the staff and pupils of Meadowside for their very warm welcome.
